Overview
Website for the New Zealand Cricket Museum, Te whare taonga kirikiti o Aotearoa, in the Old Pavilion Stand at the Basin Reserve in Wellington. It showcases the museum's collection of cricket memorabilia, its stories and visitor information. Built while working at Octave, a digital agency in Wellington.
Key Features
Searchable online collection
The museum's objects live in the CMS and can be filtered by category, topic, material and year, sorted, and loaded progressively as you scroll.
Object detail pages
Each item, from a 1927 touring bat to Dennis Lillee's aluminium bat, has its own page with photography and its story.
Game-day opening hours
Opening days are managed in the CMS by month and shown in a header drop-down, with paid game days flagged.
Bilingual, collection-led design
Te reo Māori headings sit alongside English, and a dark palette lets the photographed objects stand out.
